During the summer of 2019, I had the humble privilege to walk with the “Kentucky Boys” along the French route of the Camino de Santiago as they experience their first Camino and I walked my second. During the month long walk from June 4 to July 4, I danced in the rain, struggled with my ego, and discovered heaven as we made our way to Santiago de Compostella. As you will read, this journey was all the more an inward pilgrimage as it was a physical walk.
